Catching up on Games

It's hard to keep up with reporting basketball games--especially when we hit a tournament and instead of two games a week, it's four!

So here's the catch-up report.

TUES:

We played an old district rival that is not in our district anymore. They played really well, led most of the game, but came up short, losing 49-53. Aaron ended with 5 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Nathan had 6 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.

THURS:

The first game of the tournament, we played terrible but managed to stay in the game until the end, losing 40-48. The dismal play showed in the stats. Aaron: 3 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 3 steals. Nathan: 5 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals.

FRI:

The team we were supposed to play didn't show, so we played the host team's JV. We won (with most of our younger guys playing the majority of the game), 57-43. Aaron (who didn't play much) ended with 2 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists and 5 steals. Nathan played more, but only managed 2 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and 3 steals.

Hopefully I'll keep up better from now on!
