We lost. Were 45'd, actually. (6-man football has a 45 point mercy rule. Usually we are the ones 45ing teams.) We expected all that. What we didn't expect (but did hope) was that we could hang with them for awhile. And we did. The game didn't end until the third quarter was 2 minutes from over.
Aaron went 1 for 2 on extra points. The second one hit the crossbar of the goal post even though Calvert's whole line had broken through in front of him! He did get to kick off once and got in on the last of the tackle on the return.
We were proud of our boys. But it sure will be nice to go back to playing teams we can beat!
